Nicolas Hamilton clocks further miles ahead of Croft debut

Nicolas Hamilton has today completed another test with AMD Tuning ahead of debuting in the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship at Croft on the 27-28 June.

Having piloted his Audi S3 at Brands Hatch and Donington Park in recent weeks, the younger brother of double Formula One champion Lewis returned to the East Midlands-based Donington layout to clock further mileage and complete a variety of simulations.

Hamilton will become the first driver with cerebral palsy to compete in the series when the BTCC heads North for the fifth event of the season. Croft will also see Shaun Hollamby’s AMD outfit form into a two-car team for the second time in the BTCC with the Monster Energy athlete joining Mike Bushell, who returned at Oulton Park after suffering a substantial crash at Thruxton.
