I really hope the airwaves cars can do well, they just need to sort out their quali performance. I was at Snetterton in 2008 when Jackson won in his own team’s BMW so I hope he can repeat that on Sunday

My opinion is I believe they can but have no technical data to support it. I have owned YRCW on 4 different occassion but this time around they seem poised to make a real recovery.

Nash went well on the next two circuits on the calender Snetterton and Silverstone. He is in with a good chance of getting his first win on one of these two rounds I would say.

Thanks for the comments Lee, although I’m pretty sure they relate to other articles!

Turkington has made a big impact on the WTCC and is in with a great chance of winning the Independants Trophy if they can find the money to keep him in the championship. We’d all love to see Colin return to the BTCC but giving up a WTCC championship win for a return to (what would be not much more than a weekend drive) BTCC could be hard to justify. 2011 sponsorship would be easier to get as 2009 BTCC & 2010 WTCC Independant Champion!

But enough about that, what are your thoughts on James Nash and the news he will drive for Triple Eight for the rest of the championship?

Colin Turkington will be in one of those older BMW’s, competing in what is scheduled to be his last race of the season for EBay Motors/West Surrey Racing. The team is hoping to find backing to return later in the year, after they return to the BTCC for the next two rounds.

Looking closer on Google Maps there doesn’t seem to be any infrastructure at all. Would like to see the BTCC go to Wales though.

In my view the circuit would have to have a lot of work done to it to bring it up to standard, from what I remember there is no garages so I can imagine this is something that will need addressing other than just the lengthening of the circuit.

Would be interesting if they could make it on to the BTCC calender again though, would definitely welcome it back.

I first became aware of Luke’s work via a random search on Twitter for fellow BTCC fans. The more artwork he posted links to, the more impressed I was. I met Luke at the Rockingham BTCC meeting and left with 4 of his artworks under my arm. I have since obtained two more BTCC pieces from Luke and would love to get more but I don’t have the room to display them at present! A talented man & a damn nice guy as well. Keep it up Luke!
