Tony Gilham To Pilot The Thorney Insignia Once Again

The Silverstone rounds of the 2012 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship welcomes back the Thorney Motorsport Insignia, however due to illness the team will be without the returning Chris Stockton for race day.
Stockton took to the track during Saturday’s practice and qualifying sessions, but due to illness is unable to take part in the trio of races on Sunday.
While a disappointing blow for Stockton, taking part in his first BTCC event in 4 years, the door is opened to see Team HARD boss Tony Gilham get back behind the wheel of the Vauxhall. Gilham’s participation has been agreed by every team taking part, and sees the starting grid for Sunday’s first race at 24 cars, the highest this season so far.
