Redstone Racing today revealed their NGTC-specification Ford Focus ahead of the opening practice session at Snetterton earlier today to be driven by Mat Jackson.
The team will have been working flat out to get the car ready for the weekend and the team will be delighted that the car managed seven laps during the first practice session with it being the first time that the car has turned a wheel and they’ll be looking for more performance out of the car as his time was over six seconds off the pace.
“It’s certainly all hands on deck at the moment – I hope we can do it, that’s the aim but we have to be certain,” said Dave Bartrum, Team Boss, speaking to btcc.net.
“All I can say is what an incredible job it’s been by everyone in our team – there are some lads who’ve basically not slept for the last three days and one of our fabricators who hasn’t seen his bed for about a week. What a team effort!”
Whilst Mat Jackson takes to the wheel of the NGTC spec Ford Focus, Aron Smith will drive the turbo-powered S2000-spec Ford Focus as he has done for the first half of the season.
