Plato Fastest In FP2

Jason Plato set the pace as he took the fastest time of the second free practice session today at the Croft Circuit. The conditions at the circuit were generally cloudy with the wind being strong throughout the session. Plato went fastest early on underlining the pace of the MG KX Momentum.

Ten minutes into the session, Pirtek’s Andrew Jordan went fastest carrying the pace through from the first free practice session where he went fastest.

It was a closer session among the pace-setters than FP1 with the times being very close between the top four.

With twenty minutes remaining it was still Jordan fastest from Plato, Frank Wrathall, Jeff Smith, Tom Onslow-Cole and Gordon Shedden.

The last ten minutes of the session, saw many of the top ten improve their times. Honda’s Matt Neal went fastest with 1:25.590 just 0.097 ahead of Jordan.

Rob Collard went fastest in the last five minutes but was immediately eclipsed by the Honda of Shedden. Plato returned to the top of the timesheets, being the first man to break past the 1.24 mark during the session, going 0.5 seconds faster than Shedden.

So at the end of the session, Plato was fastest from Shedden, Collard, Neal, Jordan, M Jackson, Morgan and A Smith, Wrathall, J Smith rounding off the top ten.
