Jack Goff admits there is still plenty of time to be found in his Eurotech Racing Honda Civic Type R despite topping the times in free practice two at Snetterton.
Leaving it late to surge to summit of the times, Goff lapped the Norfolk circuit in 1:56.504 – nearly half a second more than the fastest time set by Tom Ingram earlier in the day.
Reflecting on the days running so far, Goff told BTCC Crazy: “There is more to come as we aren’t near where we were during the test day a couple of weeks back. We know what improvements are needed in the car so hopefully we can push on further.
“It is a bit of a head-scratcher though as the car has rolled out this weekend as it was left when the test ended. We will make the changes necessary and then see what we can do in qualifying.
“The aim has to be the front two rows. We’ve had a poor couple of events and need to get back towards the front to grab some big results. Round here [Snetterton] being at the front is even more important – it is key for our weekend.”
