Jack Goff admits he is still working on securing a seat on the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship grid for 2017.
The 25-year-old piloted the IHG Rewards Club BMW 1-Series last year with West Surrey Racing and has previously driven for MG Triple Eight Racing and Team BMR in years gone by.
With both pre-season testing and the annual season launch at Donington Park drawing ever closer, Goff revealed that he is yet to put pen-to-paper on any deal due to having not raised the sufficient budget needed – although he is not giving up hope yet.
“At the moment there is nothing on the table,” Goff admitted to BTCC Crazy. “It is a struggle to raise the budget at the moment but that doesn’t mean I’m not trying – nearly all my time is being spent towards bringing as many people on-board at the moment.
“There are a few options out there but they are just a little bit out of reach currently. There is still time to get on the grid but as each week passes the chances obviously get slimmer – we will see what happens in the coming weeks!”
