Jack Goff has kicked off his pre-season testing programme with West Surrey Racing by taking to a sodden Donington Park today.
Confirming at last month’s Autosport Show International that he will switch from MG Triple Eight Racing to Dick Bennetts’ BMW-outfit, the 24-year-old is looking to get a handle on the rear-wheel-drive 1-Series as soon as possible.
Running under Andy Priaulx’s IHG Rewards-banner from last year, the one-time race winner has been clocking substantial mileage under the flight path of East Midlands airport in what have been mixed conditions.
As confirmed earlier this week, Goff will be joined at WSR by Sam Tordoff and Rob Collard who both will run under the name of Team JCT600 with GardX.
Also present at Donington was WIX Racing’s Adam Morgan and fellow Mercedes A-Class racer Aiden Moffat, both of whom are continuing to ramp up preparations before the Season Launch next month.
