Jack Goff says he is keen to remain with Eurotech Racing in 2018 after enjoying his best season in the BTCC with the Independent outfit this year.
Jumping ship from West Surrey Racing in January, the 26-year-old scored three pole positions, one win and a further six podiums behind-the-wheel of his Honda Civic Type R to finish sixth overall.
Already focusing on returning to the grid next year, Goff believes remaining in the same team and car (something he is yet to do in the BTCC) for next year will leave them in good shape to build on the success of this year
“The work for 2018 starts as soon as the final chequered flag falls,” Goff told BTCC Crazy at the series finale. “Without the loyal sponsors that have stuck by me down the years we wouldn’t have got this far. The journey to coming back the next year never ends and
“This year has been a really strong one for myself and the team. We’ve shown that we have championship potential and can run at the front consistently.
“I’d love to come back next year with Eurotech Racing. Since I debuted in the BTCC I haven’t had consecutive seasons in the same car so it would be interesting to see what we could with a winter of development. I think we could be in the top three mix.
“At the end of the day it will come down with what is the best option for me.”
