A new year has brought with it a special logo for the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship as it prepares to celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2018.
To mark the tin top categories diamond jubilee, the traditional BTCC logo has been teamed with a wreath as per previous celebratory seasons and a 60th diamond detail.
Set to feature across all official championship branding over the course of the season, the new logo will also be seen in a host of different colours.
In addition, a specially TOCA-commissioned artwork has been created by Guy Allen, showcasing a number of iconic cars that have featured during the past six decades. See btcc.net for more on this.
With all 32 TOCA BTCC Licences being issued for the forthcoming campaign, the 2018 season is set to be another memorable year for the series.
At Snetterton, the reverse grid encounter [round 18] will now be a ‘Diamond Double’ race, with drivers competing in a 60-mile encounter with no success ballast and double points on offer.
