Andrew Jordan will star at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year as he pilots his Pirtek Racing Ford Focus up the infamous hill.
Invited by Lord March to drive his Motorbase Performance-prepared NGTC machine, the Goodwood Festival of Speed is seen as one of the world’s largest motor sport and motoring heritage events and held within the stunning grounds of Goodwood House in West Sussex.
Usually clashing with the BTCC in years gone by, the Red Bull athlete is relishing the opportunity to let rip and showcase the car to the thousands that will no doubt in attendance.
“It is a huge honour to be asked to take part in this event,” said Jordan, who is already a race winner and crowd favourite at the nearby Goodwood race track. “I don’t think the pace of the Focus up the hill will trouble the times of the Formula 1 cars, but it is a fantastic opportunity for me and my sponsors.”
Jordan will be in Goodwood action next weekend (19-20 March) as he takes part in the 74th Members Meeting, an event seen as the opener for the historic racing season.
