WSR Pray For Rain At Croft
West Surrey Racing go into the fifth round of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship at Croft, North Yorkshire off the back of their best result of the season last time out at Oulton Park.
Both Rob Collard and Nick Foster scored well with Foster scoring points in all three races and Collard scoring his first podium of the season in the BMW 320si in the tricky weather conditions around the Cheshire circuit and Team Manager, Dick Bennetts, is after much of the same this weekend in terms of both weather and performance.
“With the weather not looking too good this weekend, I never thought we would be praying for rain; however until we get parity between turbos & normally aspirated engines, it’s something we look forward to.”
Croft has been a happy hunting ground for the West Surrey Racing team with Turkington and Jelley finishing 1-2 in 2009 and Collard finishing 2nd behind Sheddon last year.
