Neal Snatches Fastest Time In FP2

EP7D7696

Matt Neal set the fastest time in the second free practice session of the day at Oulton Park with a last gasp lap of 1m:27.917.

The former champion had sat out most of the session with steering problems but continued Honda’s dominant start to the weekend by displacing Jason Plato at the top of the times with just a couple of minutes left on the clock.
Plato had been top of the times for the majority of the session but ended up third as team mate Alex MacDowall also hooked up a strong lap late on, to sit second.
The Chevrolet revival was emphasised by a strong showing from GoMobileUK.com with tech speed’s Paul O’Neill who finished the session fourth.

Andy Jordan was fifth ahead of morning pace setter Gordon Shedden.
