Jordan took his third win of his career and his first of 2011 with a brilliant performance in the Pirtek Racing Vauxhall Vectra during race two at Donington Park.

Jordan started the race from second on the grid alongside the Honda Civic of Matt Neal who he beat to the first corner to lead the race. Jordan lead from the front for the duration of the race but had to contend with two restarts following safety car periods and the constant pressure from James Nash also in a Vauxhall Vectra.

Nash will be delighted with his second place finish after starting rom third on the grid. Like Jordan, Nash made a good start and never looked back crossing the line 1.3s ahead of race one winner, Matt Neal who finished in 3rd.

Once again carnage ensued on lap one with Jason Plato rolling his Silverline Chevrolet Cruze on the inside of Hollywood. Shedden, who started from the back of the grid hit Griffin which caused him to collide with the side of Jason Plato and putting an end to both Plato and Griffins race.

Tom Chilton managed to bring his Team Aon Ford Focus home just outside the podium positions in 4th after a strong battle with Mat Jackson who got a little too close at times. After following Chilton for much of the race, Jackson and Chilton made contact on lap 12th sending the Airwaves Racing Focus into the gravel and slipping Jackson down to 12th after battling for 4th,

Jackson would battle back but could only manage a 10th place finish.

Rob Collard finished in a very respectable 5th position in his S2000-spec BMW ahead of the charging Civic of Gordon Shedden who started from the race from very back of the grid.

Onslow-Cole scored his first points of the season and AmD Milltek Racing’s first ever top 10 finish when he brought home the Volkswagen Golf in 7th ahead of Tony Gilham who just pipped MacDowall to 8th place on the line.

Elsewhere O’Neill ended up beached in the gravel after running in a good 7th position with none of the NGTC cars of Hughes, Wrathall and Austin managing to finish the race.

Race three starts at 1715.
