Nash To Continue With Triple Eight in 2011

It was confirmed today that James Nash would continue where he left off last season by signing for Triple Eight for the 2011 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.

Speaking to BTCC.net, Nash said, ““To have sorted the contract well before the start of the season is fabulous.

“I’m thrilled to be running again with Triple Eight. My aim this season is to consistently be fighting for the podium positions and hopefully the top step too.”

Nash drove for Triple Eight in his second season in the series and managed a podium finish in the final race at Oulton Park, which matched his previous best of 2009 where he drove for Silverline Chevrolet in the Lacetti.

Details of the car make and model are yet to be released by the team with an announcement likely to be imminent.

“James is one of the best young drivers in the BTCC and I am delighted that he will be racing with us again,” commented Ian Harrison speaking to BTCC.net

“Last year we only saw glimpses of what he’s capable of and I’m sure that with the package we’ve got lined up this season we’ll see a lot more of him competing at the sharp end.”
