Chris To Star On Secret Millionnaire
Without Chris, Paul O’Neill and John George perhaps wouldn’t have had the seasons that they have had over the past two seasons as he is the man behind Sunshine.co.uk, the main sponsor of Tech-Speed, the team both Paul and John have driven for over the past two seasons.
And Chris Brown will become the star of the hit Channel 4 show, The Secret Millionnaire, this Sunday when it airs on british television.
It’s taken Chris just five years after setting up the travel website to be in charge of a company with an annual turnover of £35 million.
The show sees millionaires take on a secret identity and go undercover in deprived areas to then reveal their true identity before pledging money to those they feel to be the most deserving following their time undercover.
“I’m not someone who was born into money and I’ve had to work hard to get to where I am today,” he says. “For me, going on The Secret Millionaire was a way to show people how they can make a success of their life, although it is true that there is also a personal element to the journey I found myself on.
“There is no doubt that appearing on the show is one of the most difficult things I have done. Of course there were some painful memories because of my father, but it was also hugely draining to take on the pretence of being someone else and see the struggles that some people face.
“While appearing on The Secret Millionaire was anything but easy, it gave me an opportunity to look at myself as well as other people and the experience has certainly changed me.”
Tune into Channel 4 on Sunday at 2100 GMT to see Chris star on The Secret Millionaire.
