Boardman Bemoans Lack Of Power

Tom Boardman qualified a disappointing 12th for the first of tomorrow’s final rounds at Brands Hatch, as he sited his lack of horsepower as the reason.

After a solid weekend at Donington last time out, Boardman had high hopes for Brands Hatch, however he failed to deliver this promise in qualifying.

Not what I wanted really. It’s very disappointing, last qualifying of the year and its so close look at the times it’s so close.

“We just need that little bit more power little bit more hp just give me 5 say, then we’d be laughing!” he exclaimed.

“Hopefully there’s going to be a lot going on and a lot going on in the first corner and first race. I’m sitting in a spot where I can watch what happens; hopefully we can come through and get a good result.

“It’s all I’ve got to do now, put that behind me, but its not where I wanted to be. That’s what I’ve got on so I’ll deal with it and hopefully have a good race tomorrow.” Said the 26-year-old
