Shedden heads the field in FP1

Gordon Shedden used his home advantage to set the fastest lap during the first practice session at Knockhill. The Scot 31, who has worked at the track as business and development manager among other roles, was 0.131 seconds faster than the Ford Focus of Tom Chilton.

Shedden’s Honda team mate Matt Neal was third fastest, edging out arch rival and championship leader Jason Plato who had to settle for fourth.

Mat Jackson and Andy Jordan were next up, the pair separated by just 0.001 seconds, a taste of how close it could be this weekend.

FP2 begins at 12:20. For the full classification click here: http://www.tsl-timing.com/toca/2010/103503trg.pdf
