Martin Johnson and Lea Wood will be among the absentees in the Touring car field this weekend at Knockhill.

Johnson has elected to miss the Scottish round to ensure that his Boulevard team will have the funds in place to compete in the last two rounds of the season, at Donington Park and Brands Hatch respectively.

Wood meanwhile, is without his team principal and brother, Greg, who is in Las Vegas on his honeymoon, meaning the team haven’t had sufficient time to prepare the car.

The decision of these two drivers not to compete along with Forster Motorsport, means that this weekend’s field will comprise just eighteen entrants.
