Renault Clio Cup driver Jeff Smith will race for Triple Eight this weekend at Knockhill. The 44 year old from Wellingborough, will partner James Nash in Ian Harrison’s team, with number 15 on the side of the car.

Smith becomes the fifth driver to race for the team this season following double BTCC champion Fabrizio Giovanardi and last year’s Renault Clio champion Phil Glew, who lined up for the opener at Thruxton, Daniel Lloyd who debuted in the series at Croft and the aforementioned Nash, who has raced for the team since the second round at Rockingham.
