Glew Pleased With His Race One Performance
Phil Glew finished race one in 14th position after starting the race from the back of the grid after hs driveshaft popped out during qualifying meaning he was unable to set a lap time.
Phil Glew said, “It was devastating as we was just getting somewhere. I was getting quicker so you never knew what could have happened, we could have had 12th or 13th.”
Despite that Glew managed to make some good overtaking maneuvers during the race and was pleased which was ultimately a run out for the NGTC turbo engine Seat Leon. Glew went on to say. “We’re just trying to get out there and get some laps done to get some data and see where we’re losing time to Tom (Boardman) in the other Seat. Im pleased to get a result, were further up the grid and hopefully we can get some points.”
