Pinkney Looking For Points On Race Day
Despite starting from the seventh row of the grid, David Pinkney will be looking to score some good points admitting that the session was “frustrating”.
Pinkney, who drives one of three NGTC cars on the grid this weekend, managed to keep within a second of Andrew Jordan but will start seven places behind him after such a close session in terms of lap times.
Pinkney said, “While we found time during the day, the others were able to find more. The car is good and I was on the limit, but it’s frustrating when you do a lap that feels awesome in the car and then find the cars at the front are so far ahead.”
Team manager, Andrew Dean, admits that the changes to the car have significantly improved handling and will look to score points this weekend. He went on to say, “We have gone quicker during the day, but the others have found more time than us. We have to try and work our way forwards as we did at Snetterton to try and bring home some points.”
