Hollamby To Miss Tomorrow’s Race

Hollamby To Miss Tomorrow’s Race

Shaun Hollamby won’t be competing in tomorrows races after a mechanical failure has forced the team to retire from the weekend.

Shaun pulled over to the side of the circuit during Qualifying earlier today which meant the end of his session and ultimately the end of his weekend. Hollamby said on Twitter earlier today, “The timing belt jumped a tooth and made a mess inside the head. No more running this weekend.”

It’s disappointing for Hollamby who would have been looking for a good strong finish in tomorrow’s races despite being off the pace but is looking forward to the challenges of the Knockhill circuit.

Hollamby went on to say, “We just don’t have the spares that we need to repair the damage”, said a disappointed Hollamby, “but we’ll regroup and be back for Knockhill in two weeks time, where the circuit will be more suited to the Golf and we’ll be aiming to continue our push towards a top ten finish”.
