Rockingham Test Today
Today marks the first official test session of the BTCC during the season as many teams make the trip back to Rockingham Motor Speedway, the circuit which they raced at little under a month ago.
Last time out at Rockingham it was Honda Racing’s Matt Neal who took the show, taking a brace of wins alongside Jason Plato’s first win of the season. Today will also be the first chance for Team Aon to test try out their car after TOCA’s decision to ensure that any car running on LPG fuel must have a 37mm turbo inlet restrictor fitted to it’s engine.
Making his test debut in the BTCC will be Daniel Lloyd. Daniel currently drives over in the states in the BF Goodrich/Skip Barber National Championship presented by Mazda but relishes the chance to get back into a tin-top over in the UK. Lloyd will be testing for Triple-Eight, a team which has already seen 3 different drivers this season aswell as winning the two opening races of the season. Click here to go to the article.
