Glew Wants to be Back

Phil Glew made his debut in the first round at Thruxton but with the situation changing dramatically, Glew had to sit out the three rounds at Rockingham after title sponsors, UNIQ, pulled out.

“Obviously the current position which has been placed in front of us is a very difficult one for all involved. As a driver im gutted to be out of the car. I’ve had a taste for it, and now im hungry as ever to come back racing,” said Phil Glew speaking to BTCC Crazy. “We are now setting about working together with the team, the sponsors, and our own commercial team to rectify the situation, and get back out on the track. Im so thankful for my personal sponsors, WD40, 3-IN-ONE Oil, and Glasurit for still wanting to be involved with me, and continuing their support towards me for the future.”

Despite the setback, Phil remains confident that he can return to the BTCC this season. “Watch this space, because I do believe it won’t be long before we’re back again and we’re more determined than ever – even if we may have to work harder for it than first thought”
