James Nash, who made five appearances for RML last season, has confirmed that he will replace Fabrizio Giovanardi in the Triple Eight Engineering team from Round 2 (Rockingham) onwards.

“Missing the first races whilst we sorted the deal out obviously means that I will be playing catch-up, but I’m looking forward to racing at the front and making a fight of the championship.”

The news comes as a shock as James Nash replaces the current championship leader who won two of the three races in the opening round at Thruxton.
