Silverstone was welcomed on Monday by BTCC new guys Forster Motorsport. Arthur Forster, team boss and driver, was said to be trying to secure funding for a second car to complete the team and reports would say that he has done so and that Martin Depper would be joining him.

Forster Motorsport are going to be running the BMW 320si which used to be used by none other than Mat Jackson back in 2008.

It’s nice to see some new teams coming into the BTCC. Lets just hope that others follow suit and we see more cars on the grid for 2010.
