Newly crowned Clio Cup Champion, Phil Glew, looks set to test a current BTCC car from one of 2009′s top teams. Glew is looking to progress from his clio title and take on the challenges of the the most competitive tin-top championship in the country.

A deal is already agreed with Glew’s current sponsors, WD-40 and 3-in-One Professional, which should bring a splash of colour to the 2010 grid and hopefully provide enough finance for a whole season of racing. Of course, this situation is entirely dependent of the level of competition in 2010. However, with Glew’s ability to consistently finish races, he should be an attractive opportunity for many teams in the BTCC.
